Rumor has it that Serverdoc has now entered additional development stages and that the pro version is being embeded into a php script that will now not only monitor the server but allow you full control over it including file configuration and management allong with an "RCON" commander screen like HLSW and more... Is this true, and if so, when can we expect to see a beta ? Also how will this affect the regular Server Doc users ? Will you still continue to develop the stand alone non pro version for remidial users who can only afford small donations of $10.00
We like the idea of the Pro version turning into something much more and I'm sure there will be plenty of interest from game server companies starting out and for people who have multiple game servers, but for the simple folk, I think you should definitely keep a version of the original without all the extra features for us.
Also, there is one last rumor we've been hearing.
Is it true that Serverdoc will now have to have a license key to function online and that only one instance of the Server Doc will be allowed per license key and that you will have a way of tracking which keys are in use and where ?
I think this is a great idea to keep people honest Stephen. You've worked very hard over the years for us all and you deserve to see your work protected and not exploited !!
